Mantra Sun City Surfers Paradise

Sometimes you just need to grab the kids and go on a staycation with your best family friends and this week that is exactly what we did!

We went down the coast and stayed at Mantra Sun City with Piper and Joshua’s besties Harlow and Noah and let me tell you they had a ball!!

Mantra Sun City is known for its family friendly vibe and of course the incredible pools and waterslides!

Located just one block from the pristine beaches of the Gold Coast, Mantra Sun City is the ideal base for your Surfers Paradise stay.

When you’re not spending your days exploring the bustling beachside city, enjoy the many guest services and leisure facilities onsite such as the already mentioned Aztec-inspired pool featuring snake-like waterslides or relax in the spa, get fit in the gym or enjoy a delicious meal at the onsite Koastal Restaurant.

To help make your stay a relaxed one be sure to take advantage of the 24 hour reception, complimentary secure parking, room service, in room internet access.

The dining was amazing and kept all the kids happy with a variety of eating options and a big modern menu blending the new with the classics. Fast, great value meals made from fresh local ingredients in the Kitchen.

Something for everyone and kids get to choose from all their favourite things too, including my fave dessert! Koastal Kitchen features 2 dining option as listed below.

Tapas Bar
On the go, want some share plates or not that hungry? Not a problem. Koastal Kitchen tapas plates master the art of simple ingredients made super tasty. Quick and delicious and lots to choose from!

Restaurant
The sun, the surf, the shopping, the excitement, it builds an appetite! Start the day with a wholesome family breakfast or get everyone together for a catch up dinner in the Koastal Kitchen restaurant. The pizzas are fresh from the oven, the grills, salads and seafood fast and fabulous. Kids have their own special menu.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment the perfect choice for a family of four, the Two Bedroom Apartments are large and spacious with plenty of room to spread out with the family providing all your basic accomodation needs while offering comfortable furnishings and spacious areas to kick back and relax on your Surfers Paradise holiday.

Featuring two separate bedrooms, each with a king zip bed, Two Bedroom Apartments offer the added convenience of self-catering, with a large fully equipped kitchen, and laundry. Each apartment has a private balcony with sweeping views across Surfers Paradise towards the hinterland.

If you feel like escaping from the resort then there’s plenty to do outside in the bustling beachside city of Surfers Paradise. It offers so many holidays in one, attracting people from all over Australia and the world. With long sandy beaches, sparkling ocean and great surf, breathtaking skyline, good shopping, fabulous dining and nightlife, as well as a huge range of entertainment and theme parks, there really is something for everyone here.

Mantra Sun City is centrally located in Surfers Paradise, making it the ideal base to explore the best of the Gold Coast. Wander down to the beach and laze the days away listening to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore, or if you’re feeling energetic take a surf lesson.

Just a short walk from the hotel takes you to Cavill Avenue, the dining, entertainment and shopping hub of Surfers Paradise where you can browse designer boutiques and discount outlets at your leisure. On Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evenings stroll down to the beachfront street markets, which sell locally made crafts and delicacies.

We adored our time at Mantra Sun City and would recommend it for the perfect family holiday.

Peppers Noosa Resort and Villas

We recently just got back from the beautiful Peppers Noosa Resort and Villas.

I’ve never actually stayed in Noosa (I know who even am I?) and it was the hubby’s birthday so i thought why not give it a go?

After looking through some different places to stay in the Noosa area I decided on Peppers Noosa.

We absolutely loved our time at Peppers it was just the luxurious little break we needed.

Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas is nestled in the serenity of Noosa National Park. How you spend your days is totally up to you but we loved lazing in the free-form swimming pool, hitting the beautiful Stephanie’s Ocean Spa, or just taking it easy and relaxing by the beach or in the room. The beautiful world class shopping and restaurants of Noosa are a short 500 metre stroll away in bustling hub of Hastings Street and Laguna Beach.

At this premium Noosa accommodation you’ll find the ultimate in eco-conscious sustainability with solar energy and rainwater irrigation.

Peppers Noosa is designed with two completely unique and beautiful accommodation concepts in mind, there is the resort, where you’re located right in the heart of it all. Featuring fully-equipped kitchens, a laundry room, and dining areas, you are spoiled with all the conveniences you could desire.

Or discover your home away from home in a beautiful Noosa Villa. We stayed in the Resort and absolutely adored it.

Aside from spacious and stylish accommodation, Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas offers WiFi access, a gymnasium and steam room, complimentary car parking and 24 hour reception.

For onsite dining, View Restaurant provides a relaxing and welcoming environment.

My favourite part of staying at Peppers was the beautiful View restaurant. You can take in the breathtaking views across Laguna Bay as you dine in style at View Restaurant situated right above the resort. This is one of the best breakfast, dinner and event experiences in Noosa. The food was just simply incredible.

Celebrity Chef Matt Golinski heads up the kitchen at View Restaurant as the hotel’s Food Ambassador and Advisory Executive Chef.

Matt is a Noosa-local himself and has launched a menu that showcases seasonal, locally-sourced produce in flavoursome dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Staying at Peppers Noosa was an experience I’ll never forget. The food, the accommodation and the scenery was just beautiful and just the escape we needed.
